Old Poem Saturday – Quatrain by Blake

toseetheworld_BlakeToday’s poem is “To See A World In A Grain of Sand” by William Blake. Blake is a poet after my own heart – he was a self-taught painter and engraver, illustrating his own poems as well as such classics as the Divine Comedy and the Book of Job. His “short lyrics,” as he called them, are always good for a Saturday poem. Photograph and composition by me. Have a lovely weekend!
