Old Poem Saturday – I May, I Might, I Must – Moore

ImayImightImustFor the first time in my life, I actually live near a fen, so I can appreciate Marianne Moore’s quatrain of determination on a new level. It also describes very well the state of Boston sidewalks until clean-up efforts caught up with the back-log of snow this last week – apparently impassable, but often possible if you try. Painting (ink on paper) and composition by me. Have a lovely weekend!

    1. The title of this poem, all by itself, is inspirational. Thank you! We had a few more inches overnight – and now it is supposed to warm up for the next few days before plunging back to freezing. So now comes the transitions to slush and then ice!
