Illustrated Thursday – Moriturus, stanzas XIX to XXI – Millay

MoriturusXIX-XXIOnly Edna St. Vincent Millay could make the tiny scourge of gardeners and farmers worldwide seem heroic in the face of death! We go with her as she explores such themes in “Moriturus.”  If you’d like to see my illustrations of stanzas I-III, IV-VI, VII-IXX-XIIXIII-XV, and XVI-XVIII click on the numbers. The whole poem can be found here. Drawing (marker on paper) and composition by me.
