Old Poem Saturday – Coda – Ezra Pound

Coda_PoundA perfectly short poem by Ezra Pound for a too-short Saturday. It is a skill, as well as an art, to know when a poem does not need to be even one word longer. Photograph (of driftwood and lichen on the coast of Maine) and composition by me.

  1. Pound was an amazing and often bewildering talent. He influenced and helped many writers, including Hemingway.

As freaky as my imagination is, I still can’t visualize Pound and Hemingway boxing. Too. Weird.
