Old Poem Saturday – Quatrain by Orellana

Divinechocolate

For Old Poem Saturday, I bring you a tongue-in-cheek quatrain about chocolate by the 18th-century Spanish writer Marco Antonio Orellana (1731-1813). It still applies today, I would say! The weather has turned here in Boston so that a hot chocolate is definitely in order. Drawing (ink on paper) and composition by me. Enjoy!
