More Abstraction Influenced by Poetry…

A collaborative exchange! I asked Amy to create an Abstraction piece based on a William Blake poem and she did. Thank you, Amy – it’s lovely!

Already I have created an abstraction piece which was then combined with poetry (view here), but this time I was challenged by Illustrated Poetry to create an abstraction piece based on a poem. The poem was as follows:

The Angel That Presided O’er My Birth

The Angel that presided o’er my birth

Said, “Little creature, formed of Joy and Mirth,

Go love without the help of any thing on earth.”

– William Blake (1757-1827)

It was interesting creating an abstraction piece based on something instead of letting the piece flow organically. On a side note I would like to apologise for the lack of posts as of late but I have had a busy few days. On the bright side I have a new photographic series coming up pretty soon – so look out for future updates!
